Job Description JOB TITLE:Associate Director, Supply Chain LOCATION:316 Northern Ave, Boston, MA 02210 OPENINGS:1 DUTIES:Create, modify and execute company policies that affect immediate operations and may also have company-wide effect. Represent Supply Chain department on assigned project sub-teams and/or task forces and, with general guidance, executes supply chain production activities. Build and align the unconstrained demand forecast with the commercial and product management teams. Drive improved forecast accuracy and increased order fulfillment. Lead the demand review meetings and bridge the regional demand plan to regional financial plan). Define the inventory and supply planning parameters. Drive the product segmentation and alignment with commercial to decide on the right supply chain setup. Communicate lead times and order status to customer care (internal customer, ext via customer service). Contribute to overall strategic development of a supply planning function including working with other cross functional leaders to integrate the activities of the function. Influence objectives across existing global supply chain networks. Collaborate with internal stakeholders in the development and execution of product strategies. Partner with Research and Development teams and support new product introduction by proactively sourcing multiple supply chain options for new raw materials identified. Execute all actions in accordance with established procedures and processes. Recommend improvements to such processes and system needs. Utilize business systems (Oracle ERP, Rapid Response) to understand data. Research past and expected spend levels to understand and action areas of cost savings opportunities and potential risk. Maintain strong cross functional relationships to bolster communication with internal and external stakeholders 40% telecommuting permitted. 20% travel required. REQUIREMENTS:Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations or related field and ten (10) years of experience in the job offered or in an Associate Director, Supply Chain-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master' s degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing Operations or related field and six (6) years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in an Associate Director, Supply Chain-related occupation. Position requires demonstrable experience in the following:
