DIGITAL MARKETING MANAGER
Reports to: Director of Digital Marketing, the position is exempt
THE ROLE
The Digital Marketing Manager reports to the Director of Digital Marketing and provides support to the Marketing team. We are seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to manage, update and enhance our digital presence across all our websites and 3
rd party directories. This role is responsible for creating, editing, publishing, and maintaining content across our websites and digital platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong writing skills, a solid understanding of SEO and website best practices, and experience using content management systems (CMS) as well as CRM automation tools and platforms.

You bring strong communication skills and technical experience in managing and updating content across a wide array of platforms. You are confident in your abilities to be a strategic thinker and a tactical doer with prior experience in website & email content management.
You can work independently and manage your own schedule to meet deadlines. You continually find ways to partner with your peers to identify areas of opportunity across websites & digital platforms. You're collaborative and communicative with the ability to think strategically to identify and resolve issues. WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Upload and format content for all Aparium websites using CMS tools (e.g., WordPress, Squarespace etc.).
- Maintain and update content on 3rd party website directories for all Aparium hotels and F&B outlets (Tripadvisor, Yelp, Google Business profiles)
- Create new landing pages as requested by our hotels and marketing team (e.g., Promotional Offers, Destination Content, Venues etc.)
- Update and add content for all email and messaging initiatives
- Ensure all web content aligns with brand voice, style guidelines, and SEO strategies
- Perform regular audits of existing content to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and optimal performance.
- Monitor website performance, content engagement metrics, and suggest improvements
- Maintain and update digital content calendars
- Ensure compliance with website accessibility (e.g., WCAG) and usability standards
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
- 2-4 years of content and website management using WordPress
- Familiarity with SquareSpace content management
- Experience with Google Suite of products Google Analytics (GA4)
- Experience with CRM automation tools & platforms (e.g., Revinate, Sales Force etc.)
- 1-2 years' experience in SEO (non-technical)
- Self-motivated individual who is always looking for opportunities to optimize websites.
- Excellent communication skills
- Results-oriented, creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- BA or BS in a marketing or related field
- Adaptable interpersonal skills to communicate and address all employee levels of the hotel
- Professional proficiency of the English language in reading, writing and verbal communication
- Proven experience with B2C and B2B marketing
- Proficiency with digital marketing, display advertising and social media strategy.
- Proven experience designing interactive applications and networking platforms.
- Demonstrated project management experience in managing multiple projects.
- Proven results in driving business results via content and email marketing
- Ability to adapt interpersonal skills and professional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Ability to provide meticulous attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to get stuff done quickly and with high quality.
- Able to put your client the customer first in all strategies.
- Willingness to be based in the Chicago Office, located in the West Loop, and comfortable working in an open-space office environment

Pay rate: $65K to $75K plus position is eligible for our short-term incentive plan
