IT Specialist I

Job Duties (Description of specific duties in a typical workday for this position):

• Provide system administration and user training support for the organization's IT infrastructure.
• Maintain databases for existing management information systems and assist with system upgrades and troubleshooting.
• Analyze and resolve hardware and software issues to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Follow cybersecurity and maintenance protocols to safeguard systems and maintain operational readiness.
• Support technical point-of-contact (POC) responsibilities for wireless services and mobile device management.
• Document system performance metrics, backup procedures, and issue resolutions for audit and compliance purposes.

Requirements (Years of experience, Education, Certifications):

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT support, system administration, or a related technical role.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience with a wide range of IT devices, systems, and software tools.

Nice to Have:

• Familiarity with help desk tools, ticketing systems, and remote support platforms.
• Experience supporting both Windows and Mac operating environments.
• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills, particularly in user-facing roles.

Travel Requirement:

• Travel may be required occasionally, up to 10%.
