What We Offer:
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will maintain accounts receivable, identify and correspond with providers on overdue receivables, process receipt of checks, daily reconciliations, and provide administrative support by processing reports and data entry. Essential Functions: * Post provider payments by processing and recording checks * Reconcile withholding information with amounts received * Answer account receivable inquiries and follow up with providers * Work with manager on aged receivables * Prepare various documents which may include reports, memos, letters, responses to correspondence, surveys, spreadsheets and presentations * Maintain security of and confidentiality of all protected health information * Calculate rates based on reported costs and census information * Perform general office duties such as answering phones, forwarding emails, scanning/copying documents and preparing mailings * Support group of auditors by preparing limited desk review steps prior to the accountants' desk work * Additional responsibilities as assigned Requirements: * High School diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred * 2 years experience in office environment preferred * Accounts Receivable, basic bookkeeping and reconciling experience preferred * Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office software tools, specifically Excel * QuickBooks or other accounting software experience preferred * Possess strong data entry and typing skills * Be well organized with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail * Possess ability to quality review own work * Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills * Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing throughout all levels of organization, both internally and externally * Must be a team player who works well with a group * Ability to work with minimal supervision while fulfilling all obligations * Strong math and customer service skills The Team: Work Style: Typical Interview Process:
