KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Workday Student forour Consulting practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the strategic lead on large-scale Workday Student implementations, overseeing end-to-end delivery, including roadmap development, solution architecture, deployment, testing, and change management for higher education clients
  • Advise university leadership on enterprise transformation strategies that align Workday Student capabilities with institutional goals related to student success, academic operations, and enrollment management
  • Guide institutions through the redesign and optimization of student lifecycle processes, including admissions, academic records, advising, curriculum management, financial aid, and student accounts
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams across KPMG and client organizations, ensuring alignment of functional, technical, and operational priorities throughout the program lifecycle
  • Provide oversight and quality assurance for Workday Student engagements, including risk mitigation, stakeholder alignment, and performance metrics
  • Foster client relationships and executive-level engagement with provosts, registrars, CIOs, and enrollment leaders, establishing KPMG as a trusted advisor in the higher education sector
  • Drive market development and growth strategy for the Workday Student practice, including new business development, RFP responses, and go-to-market initiatives in collaboration with industry and solution leaders
  • Mentor and develop talent across the practice, building team capabilities in higher ed delivery, change enablement, and Workday Student subject matter expertise while managing projects in alignment with KPMG's engagement standards, including scope, budget, and client satisfaction

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of eight years of progressive experience in higher education administration, with leadership roles in student services, academic operations, or university transformation; 5 years of experience implementing or optimizing Workday Student, with multiple full lifecycle deployments highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree in Education, Public Administration, Information Systems, or related field strongly preferred
  • Deep functional knowledge of student information systems (SIS) and their integration with academic and administrative departments, including areas such as enrollment, curriculum, advising, student finance, and analytics
  • Proven ability to lead large, complex ERP programs with cross-functional teams and executive stakeholders in higher education institutions
  • Active Workday Student certification and/or similar student information system platform (e.g. Banner, Peoplesoft Campus) (or ability to obtain Workday Student certification within 3 months of hire)
  • Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication, executive reporting, and stakeholder alignment
  • Strong familiarity with the regulatory, operational, and mission-driven aspects of colleges and universities
  • Ability to travel as required
