We are currently seeking a Senior HR Business Partner (Sr. HRBP) to provide strategic HR leadership by driving organizational effectiveness, talent strategies, and workforce planning efforts. This role plays a key part in shaping HR initiatives that align with SEI's business objectives while ensuring compliance and best practices. The Sr. HRBP will lead organizational alignment and reorganization processes, partnering with senior leaders to enhance overall efficiency and the employee experience.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure the execution of key enterprise HR initiatives and programs, in collaboration with Workforce Development functional areas, to support a high-performance culture and continuous improvement in organizational effectiveness, staffing, employee relations, performance management, compensation strategy, learning and development, benefits, employment practices and compliance as follows:

  • Organizational Alignment & Reorganization: Manage organizational alignment, reorg processes, and workforce transitions.
  • Process Accountability: Manage multiple HR programs, ensuring strategic alignment with SEI's key business drivers.
  • Decision-Making & Judgment: Exercise significant judgment in resolving moderate business challenges, seeking guidance on more complex organizational matters.
  • Business & Industry Expertise: Demonstrate advanced understanding of the business line and expand knowledge of SEI's competitive landscape.
  • Cross-Functional Influence: Proactively negotiate and manage expectations across departments, impacting timelines and strategic direction.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Serve as the primary HR contact for multiple business units, mentoring junior staff and partnering with senior leadership, including Executives and Senior Leaders and Directors.
  • Talent & People Development: Provide guidance on HR projects, offering mentorship based on experience when needed.
  • Workforce & Functional Collaboration: Maintain a balance of tactical and strategic relationships with internal teams, peers, and functional management.
  • Client Service & Change Management: Manage HR strategy, thought leadership, and change initiatives. Take ownership of policy development, project leadership, and communication planning.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (Advanced degree or certification is a plus).
  • 10+ years of progressive HR or leadership experience, with expertise in strategic business partnership.
  • Strong understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and talent management.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to influence and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
