The AVP, People Operations and Compliance is responsible for human resource operations and administration, compliance, HR technology and analytics, total rewards and payroll operations leadership. In partnership with the SVP, HR, will build and execute strategies that support the growth strategy of the business. Additional accountabilities include leading continuous process improvements that drives operational optimization and efficiency, policy administration and management to ensure compliance with internal and legislative controls, maintaining systems and data integrity, and aligning resources, services and solutions to effectively support the Company's growth strategy.

People Operations, Compliance and Payroll Administration



  • Establish and oversee HR policies, processes, and compliance frameworks to support the business and our continued growth.


  • Ensure compliance with multi-state employment laws inclusive of leave administration, tax regulations, and HR reporting requirements, adapting to evolving labor laws and best practices.


  • Establish and optimize payroll administration, in partnership with our finance team


  • Responsible for overseeing audits and requests for data and ensuring accuracy and completeness of data



HR Technology & People Analytics



  • Responsible for management of all HR systems, inclusive of ongoing process improvements and automation across people operations,


  • Lead people analytics frameworks that enable us to see ourselves - workforce trends, compensation planning, and employee engagement.



Total Rewards



  • In partnership with the SVP, HR, develop and lead the total rewards strategy, ensuring our compensation and benefits remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with our business goals.


  • Oversee job architecture and compensation plans, inclusive of benchmarking and pay equity analyses, ensuring regulatory compliance


  • Partner with Finance on compensation planning/budgeting


  • Oversee benefits programs, including healthcare, wellness, and 401k plans, to support employee well-being.


  • Stay ahead of legislative and market trends to ensure our total rewards programs remain best-in-class.



Leadership & Partnerships



  • Lead and develop the People Operations team


  • Partner with Finance, Tech, Legal and broader HR team to align HR strategies with business objectives.


  • Manage partnerships with r with third-party administrators, benefits providers, vendors and internal and external stakeholders


Job Requirements



  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, People Operations and Compliance, Payroll and HR technology and Analytics, ideally in a fast-growing healthcare environment.


  • Proven expertise in compensation strategy, benefits design


  • Strong knowledge of multi-state compliance, and emerging HR regulatory landscapes.


  • Executive compensation experience required.


  • Hands-on experience and understanding of systems and processes, preferably with UKG. System conversion and integration experience preferred.


  • Experience leading and developing a team, with a track record of building and scaling HR functions.


  • Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and drive strategic decision-making.


  • Comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level in a high-growth, remote- environment.


Education:



  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field - or a minimum of ten years commensurate experience in HR Shared Services, HR Operations or Human Resources Business Partnering at the senior level is required.


  • MBA with concentration in Human Resources Management or master's degree in human resources management preferred.


  • Professional HR certifications preferred.

In addition to the base compensation, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.

The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. At ComplexCare Solutions, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Base Compensation Range
$190,000 $220,000 USD
