What You'll Do:

This role leads OCC's business process optimization program in partnership with peer teams, the project management office, and executive leadership. This role supports the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise-wide business process optimization strategy aligned with the company's strategic goals. This role identifies areas of opportunity, establishes optimization priorities, partners with project managers to drive improvements through projects, and leads cross-functional teams to deliver results end-to-end.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Business Process Management & Productivity

  • Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive enterprise-wide business process optimization program aligned to the company's strategic goals.

  • Lead cross-functional teams through a methodology-based process to deliver business process improvements.

  • Implement process improvement methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma to drive continuous improvement throughout the organization.

  • Design, document, and implement optimized business processes using effective organizational change management.

  • Provide training, support, guardrails, and tools for users to diagnose, measure, and analyze their problems.

  • Partner with senior leadership of areas of focus for the organization to ensure resource commitment and effort support.

  • Curate partnerships across the organization with key stakeholders and project management teams.

  • Partner to lead OCC's business process improvement hub community (a Center of Excellence).

General Duties

  • Keep team goals aligned with business goals and needs.

  • Maintain high stakeholder satisfaction rates.

  • Support a strong risk management and control environment and follow all technology development protocols.

  • Assist leadership to regularly communicate priorities and value-add.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • Lead and supervise the work of multiple concurrent teams within and outside of their organization. (10-20 FTEs)

  • Oversee enterprise-wide strategic initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Deep understanding dealing with organizational dynamics, using influence, and leading behavior change.

  • Experience deploying business process management and improvement techniques (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma, Total Quality Management) for quantifiable gains.

  • High proficiency in business writing and business communications.

  • Experience delivering efficient solutions to troubling organizational issues.

Technical Skills:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Flowcharting and business process modeling language

  • Strategy and project execution platforms (e.g., WorkBoard, JIRA, MS Project, etc)

  • General understanding of the business technology landscape, cloud, and low-code/no-code platforms.

Education and/or Experience:

  • 10+ years of work experience

  • 5-10 years of experience with operational excellence improvement efforts, project management and execution, and/or strategy and strategy execution

Compensation

  • The salary range listed for any given position is exclusive of fringe benefits and potential bonuses. If hired at OCC, your final base salary compensation will be determined by factors such as skills, experience and/or education.
  • In addition, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
  • We typically do not hire at the maximum of the range in order to allow for future and continued salary growth. We also offer a substantial benefits package as noted on www.theocc.com/careers
  • All employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are based on various factors, including, but not limited to, company and individual performance and are not guaranteed.

Salary Range

$148,600.00 - $204,500.00

Incentive Range

18% to 25%

This position is eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award, for which the target range is listed above (see Incentive Range). The amount of such award, if any, will be based on various factors, including without limitation, both individual and company performance.
