To succeed as the Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer, you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required.
  • 8–10 years of rotating equipment engineering experience in oil & gas, refining, or petrochemical industries, including field work and turnaround support.
  • Proficiency in vibration analysis, lubrication, thermography, and knowledge of industry codes/standards.
  • Valid driver’s license and TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) required.

 

Senior Rotating Equipment Engineer’s responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure high reliability and performance of rotating equipment through maintenance strategies, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate effectively across internal and external stakeholders to align on technical direction, priorities, and engineering support.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions to resolve equipment issues and prevent recurrence.
  • Oversee the rotating equipment asset management system and ensure alignment with broader work processes and technical communities.
  • Drive technical support for maintenance, upgrades, and growth projects while ensuring safety and documentation standards compliance.
