The Vice President, Value Based Care is responsible for establishing and executing the strategy to deliver value-based care to DaVita's Chronic Kidney Disease patient population. This Vice President role, in collaboration with operations leaders will and be responsible for reducing the overall healthcare spend for managed patients through development of key interventions and innovation to deliver best in class care and patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Establish and execute clinical priorities to delivery year over year improvement in care delivery
  • Develop a multi-year technology roadmap for teammates, physicians and patients which will enable care management delivery
  • Identify and evaluate vendors to enhance existing care delivery capabilities
  • Collaborate with physician partners to determine approach for joint patient management. Establish workflows and tech tools to support nephrology practices
  • Support preparation for and participation in business development opportunities with strategic partners
  • Lead discussions on capabilities with the C-level senior leadership team and client-partners
  • Develop strategies to meet quality standards
  • Innovate on tactics to engage patients

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience leading value based care solutions
  • Leadership of large teams
  • Proven track record of innovating and improving outcomes in healthcare
  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters in Business Administration or similar

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Strong executive communication skills
  • Proficiency in Powerpoint, Excel and other Microsoft products
  • Strong influencing skills; Track record of successful client relationship development and ability to quickly build credibility and gain the confidence of individuals at all levels.
  • Outstanding conceptual, analytical and strategic skills
  • Demonstrated ability to recognize, prioritize, and evaluate market trends and specific growth opportunities
  • Possesses the ability to balance strategic vision and execution capabilities to deliver results
  • Ability to effectively handle and drive multiple projects.
  • Keen understanding of healthcare markets
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a sense of shareholder responsibility
  • Team player with the ability to sell change effectively and influence others
  • Comfort with ambiguity
