Position Highlights: Salary: $85,000 annually Schedule: Monday-Friday \| 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Employment Type: Direct Hire - become a full-time team member from day one! What You'll Handle: Prepare/post journal entries and assist in month-end close Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts Manage sales/use tax filings and 1099 reporting Monitor inventory, perform periodic counts (light travel required) Analyze job cost reports and ensure prevailing wage compliance (CT, MA, NY, RI) Support audits, job forecasting, and insurance documentation Process AP invoices and manage property tax payments What You Bring: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field 2+ years of accounting experience preferred Proficiency in GAAP, Excel, and accounting systems Detail-oriented with strong communication and multitasking skills Construction accounting experience is a plus Why Choose Staffmark?
