Position Purpose







The System Administrator-Finance supports the daily and ongoing maintenance, content, configuration, and administration of the organization's Financial Planning & Analysis platform.

The Financial Planning platform includes modules for Management Reporting, Productivity, Long Range and Short-Range Financial Planning, Budgeting, Capital Planning, Capital Tracking, and Benchmarking.

Additionally, the System Administrator-Finance operates as the key liaison for the system, providing technical support and education to end-users. This role also performs various clerical functions in support of the Financial Planning & Analysis department.









Nature and Scope







This role can be either remote or hybrid.

Primary Responsibilities:

a- Oversee maintenance, data, and administration of the Financial Performance Management System, including user management and content management.

a- Perform daily routine tasks and data reconciliations

a- Perform daily user security and security maintenance

a- Maintain all aspects of information and data in the Financial System ensuring that the information and data is accurate and up-to date.

a- Conduct regular audits of Financial System tables and reporting to ensure data accuracy, compliance with and adherence to company policies, and regulatory requirements, as necessary.

a- Stay current on product and industry best practices related to Financial Management.

a- Recommend and implement process improvements and system enhancements to streamline Finance operations and improve user experience.

a- Serve as the subject matter expert with respect to the management, use and maintenance of the Financial System.

a- Serve as primary contact for end users and provide technical assistance for users, including documentation for those users.

a- Maintain and update configurations in the system in accordance with company policies and legal requirements, if any.

a- Provide support to the finance teams with reporting and analysis to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

a- Provide regular reporting to the variance finance teams and other end users, as needed.

a- Working with the Database Administrator, the System Administrator-Finance serves as the primary point of contact for system related inquiries, issues, enhancements, and support of integrations.

a- Collaborate closely with the vendor, Information Technology teams and data teams to troubleshoot system problems, implement system upgrades, and ensure data integrity.

a- Assist in the configuration, testing, and implementation of financial modules and functionalities.

a- Provide training and support to end-users on System's models, plan files, processes, and functionality.

a- Function as technical lead for Finance projects to support the business and Finance strategy.

Incumbent Must Possess:

a- Must possess strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities and have the capacity to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

a- Must possess the ability to perform routine tasks daily.

a- Must have the ability to understand and resolve complex problems in a timely and effective manner using critical thinking skills.

a- Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey complex findings to non-technical stakeholders.

a- Must have strong analytical skills with the ability to work with a variety of large and complex datasets.

a- Must have advanced skills with Microsoft Excel, familiarity with database applications and a fundamental understanding of programming languages and report writers.

a- Must work well under stress and deadlines.

Education:



Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English. Accredited Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, or Information Systems. Experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.



Experience:



Two years of experience working in accounting, financial management or with information systems. Preference given to candidates with required degree and experience with report writing, database design, advanced Excel work or accounting.

Computer / Typing:



Must have working knowledge of SQL, Microsoft Office Suite, including Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word and have the ability to use the computer to complete online learning requirements for job-specific competencies, access online forms and policies, complete online benefits enrollment, etc.
