We free everyone to safely use any technology-anywhere, on any device or app. Our Workforce and Customer Identity Clouds enable secure yet flexible access, authentication, and automation that transforms how people move through the digital world, putting Identity at the heart of business security and growth.

At Okta, we celebrate a variety of perspectives and experiences. We are not looking for someone who checks every single box - we're looking for lifelong learners and people who can make us better with their unique experiences.

Join our team! We're building a world where Identity belongs to you.

Okta is The World's Identity Company. We empower everyone to safely use any technology. As part of Okta's Customer Identity Cloud, the Auth0 Platform is the identity platform for the world's most innovative consumer and B2B applications. We've built an easy-to-implement, authentication and authorization platform designed by developers for developers, securing billions of logins for millions of users every month.

We are entering a new era of the internet, one defined by artificial intelligence, autonomous agents, and fundamentally new user experiences. In this world, identity is no longer just a login box; it is the foundational trust layer for all digital interactions. We are seeking a visionary product leader to define and build the future of our platform, empowering the next generation of builders to create secure, trusted, and intelligent solutions.

This isn't just another platform role. This is a unique opportunity to architect and scale the leading identity platform for an AI-driven world, enabling true network effects and shaping how digital trust is established for decades to come.

What You'll Do: Architect the Future of Identity

As the Senior Director of Product for the Auth0's Platform Pillar, you will be the driving force behind our platform's evolution. You will report to the Chief Product Officer and be responsible for the core infrastructure that underpins the entire Auth0 product suite and our thriving ecosystem.

Your mission will be to:

  • Define the Multi-Year Vision: Craft and champion a compelling multi-year platform vision and strategy that anticipates the future of digital identity. You will look beyond the horizon to architect our platform in support of emerging paradigms like agentic identity, where autonomous agents act on behalf of users.
  • Ignite the Ecosystem: Build the strategy to unlock true platform network effects. Your work will enable our ecosystem of developers and partners to innovate and build powerful, secure solutions that we haven't even imagined yet, creating a self-reinforcing cycle of value and growth.
  • Enable Intelligent Products: You will be the key partner for our broader Auth0 product teams, providing them with the foundational capabilities and leveraging the scale of the platform and its associated data to build intelligent, data-driven products that delight customers.
  • Scale for the Future: Drive the cross-functional execution of a strategic roadmap, partnering with senior leaders across product architecture, engineering, and design to deliver the scalable, reliable, and secure platform required to support massive growth and complex enterprise use cases.
  • Lead and Inspire: Mentor and grow a world-class team of product managers, fostering a culture of innovation, customer obsession, and accountability. You will be the internal and external thought leader for the Auth0 platform, evangelizing its power and potential.
  • Engage with Visionaries: Partner directly with our most strategic customers and industry-leading developers, translating their most complex challenges and ambitious ideas into an elegant and powerful platform roadmap.

What You'll Bring: A Platform Visionary and Builder

We are looking for a leader who can operate at the highest strategic levels while remaining deeply connected to the technical details. You are a lifelong learner who is energized by complex, ambiguous challenges and can inspire teams to build the future.

  • Proven Platform Leadership: 10+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years specifically in a Platform or technical infrastructure role where you were responsible for a product that served other developers (internal or external).
  • Inspiring Team Leadership: 5+ years of experience managing and mentoring high-performing product management teams, with a track record of developing talent.
  • Deep Technical Acumen: A strong technical background (e.g., a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience) that enables you to engage effectively with architects and engineers on complex system design. An MBA is a plus.
  • Identity Expertise: Deep understanding of the Customer Identity and Access Management (CIAM) space, including authentication, authorization, federation, and the evolving security landscape.
  • Strategic Mindset: You think big and can connect a long-term vision to a tangible, executable strategy. You have a demonstrated history of driving product vision from concept to broad market adoption.
  • Ecosystem and Developer Focus: A passion for building products for developers. Experience with developer-focused platforms, API-first products, and CI/CD tooling is highly preferred.
  • AI and Data Fluency: Demonstrated experience or a strong perspective on leveraging AI/ML and large-scale data to improve customer outcomes and build intelligent systems.
  • Exceptional Influence: World-class communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and drive alignment across a fast-paced, global organization.

At Okta, we are committed to building an inclusive work environment where everyone can bring their authentic selves to work. If you're a bold, curious, and empathetic leader excited by the challenge of building the identity platform for the future, we encourage you to apply.
