The Opportunity: The Assistant Events Coordinator supports the Events Coordination team in planning, organizing, and executing events. This role assists with all aspects of event management to ensure seamless and memorable experiences for members and guests. The Assistant Events Coordinator collaborates closely with vendors, staff, and clients to maintain the highest standards of service and operational efficiency.

Duties and Functions



  • Assist in coordinating all phases of events, including weddings, tournaments, member functions, and private parties
  • Support the lead Events Coordinator in managing event logistics, timelines, and client communications
  • Liaison between vendors and internal departments to ensure all event requirements are met
  • Help set up event spaces according to specifications and ensure timely breakdown and cleanup
  • Prepare event documentation, including floor plans and event orders
  • Assist in managing RSVP lists and guest communications
  • Provide on-site support during events to address client and guest needs promptly
  • Monitor inventory of event supplies and coordinate replenishment as needed
  • Contribute to post-event evaluations to improve future event planning and execution
  • Uphold the country club's standards of excellence in customer service and hospitality



Qualification Standards



  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or coursework in hospitality, event planning, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in event coordination, hospitality, or customer service strongly preferred
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and event management software a plus
  • Flexible schedule, including availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Professional demeanor with a passion for delivering exceptional member and guest experiences
