Now, we're entering a new phase of growth and are looking for an Junior-Level IT Support Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting day-to-day IT operations, providing frontline support, and contributing to system maintenance and documentation efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone beginning their IT career to gain real-world experience in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.

What You'll Do
The ideal candidate will thrive working in an innovative and fast-paced work environment, able to deal with problems on the fly, and delivers thoughtfully designed and highly adaptable systems.


  • Image and deploy Windows computers for employees, ensuring all required software and configurations are applied.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support, responding to tickets and resolving basic hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Provide technical support to employees via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Set up and support peripheral devices such as printers, scanners, and docking stations.
  • Document IT processes, troubleshooting steps, and known solutions in the company's knowledge base.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and documentation of IT hardware and software assets.
  • Assist with user account provisioning, including creating and modifying accounts in Active Directory and M365.
  • Support mobile device setup and management.
  • Collaborate with the IT team on routine system updates, patching, and small-scale projects.


Requirements


  • Ability to diagnose and resolve common hardware/software issues.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems and device imaging.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and peripheral device setup.
  • Understanding of IT security principles, including password policies and phishing awareness.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to document procedures and contribute to knowledge-sharing.
  • Team-oriented with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Eagerness to learn and grow in a professional IT environment.


Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, and move about regularly throughout the day and lift/carry up to 25 pounds. Must have manual dexterity to operate standard office equipment such as computers, printers, and phones. Must be physically capable of walking between office and production areas and attending events or meetings off-site as needed.

Work Environment

This position operates primarily in a professional office environment with occasional work in a manufacturing setting. It requires the use of standard office equipment and systems. This role involves cross-departmental collaboration and both independent and team-based responsibilities. Standard work hours for this position are 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime or off-hour work as business needs arise.

ITAR Requirement

In compliance with International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), candidates must be U.S. Citizens, U.S. Permanent Residents (Green Card holders), or individuals granted asylee/refugee status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
