Your Impact

As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for driving growth within one of Cisco's largest global technology clients. This is a high-visibility, strategic role requiring an entrepreneurial mindset, innovative thinking, and a relentless drive to win.

Electronics manufacturing, entertainment and gaming industry knowledge or passion is a plus. Familiarity with emerging technology domains like AI and cybersecurity are a big advantage. You will leverage a software model approach coupled with a channel-led go-to-market strategy, targeting global strategic opportunities and engaging deeply with executive stakeholders in the US and worldwide.

You'll have the opportunity to shape the customer's digital transformation journey, influencing C-level decision-makers and helping position Cisco as their most trusted and strategic technology partner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own and deliver a global growth target for a major technology account
  • Identify and pursue high-impact, strategic opportunities across regions
  • Build deep executive relationships that drive long-term partnership and loyalty
  • Translate customer business needs into end-to-end Cisco solutions that deliver measurable value
  • Lead with insight on topics like AI, security, and hybrid work to drive innovation and mindshare
  • Collaborate across Cisco's internal and partner ecosystem to orchestrate successful outcomes

Minimum Qualifications

  • 12+ years of experience in strategic technology sales with a proven record of quota overachievement
  • Strong executive presence and experience selling to C-level stakeholders globally
  • Experience managing complex, multi-region accounts and driving transformational deals
  • Understanding of enterprise IT trends, including AI, cybersecurity, and cloud
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills; able to align Cisco strategy with customer goals

Preferred Qualifications

  • Represent Cisco with excellence in both English and Japanese contexts-Japanese language proficiency and business culture awareness are a strong plus
  • Experience or enthusiasm for electronics manufacturing, the gaming industry, and entertainment industry
  • Proven ability to influence both End Users and Ecosystem Partner communities
  • High technical acumen with the ability to map business problems to Cisco architectures
  • Self-starter with a passion for innovation, customer impact, and closing strategic deals
