Clariant is seeking a Senior Account Representative to join the Gas, Oil & Mining segment of our Care Chemicals business unit based out of Broussard, LA. This field-facing role delivers technical service, preventative maintenance, and chemical trouble shooting solutions directly at offshore customer locations. This is a hands-on, rotational position (14/14 schedule) that requires physical activity in outdoor environments and up to 50% travel. Responsibilities

* Support customer operations on a 14 days on / 14 days off rotational schedule
* Serve as the primary customer liaison, delivering on-site technical service and issue resolution
* Conduct equipment diagnostics, preventive maintenance, and chemical treatment optimization
* Respond to emergency service needs and perform necessary equipment repairs or replacements
* Deliver on-site training for customers on Clariant chemical products and best practices
* Collaborate with engineering, R&D, and internal support teams to resolve complex issues
* Maintain accurate service documentation and communicate status updates to clients
* Ensure compliance with all safety protocols, offshore standards, and environmental regulations
* Represent Clariant with integrity, professionalism, and a strong commitment to customer success



Requirements

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Petroleum), Chemistry, or Business preferred; equivalent relevant experience may be considered
* 3-5 years of oil and gas industry experience; experience in oilfield chemical services strongly preferred
* Strong knowledge of oil and gas production chemistry and offshore operations
* Ability to work offshore on a rotational basis and travel up to 50% of the time
* Offshore certifications (or ability to obtain) required
* Comfortable working outdoors in challenging and varied environments
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Strong analytical abilities and customer-first mindset
