    Scheduled Hours/days: 2 hours/day

    Qualifications:
    Candidate will have played, competed or coached the sport or activity at the high school or college level. Candidates will also complete all Northfield and MSHSL professional development requirements.

    Stipend: $2,772 plus Years of Experience Pay if applicable - Subject to change upon the settlement of the 25-27 NEA Agreement.

    Compensation/Benefits/Perks: Position does not qualify for benefits

    Deadline: Open Until Filled. EOE (6/17/2025) Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.

    Job Summary:
    To assist the head coach in the selection, instruction, training, and conditioning of all athletes/teams assigned to him/her by the head coach. Northfield Schools, the Principal, and Athletics/Activities Director place an expectation not only on the skills, abilities, and commitments of its coaches but also on their integrity and collective common sense in performing their duties.

    Responsibilities:
    • To demonstrate and generate among your staff and players an attitude of good sportsmanship and fair play by adhering to the Coach's Code of Ethics.
    • To know and administer the policies, procedures, and guidelines set forth in the Coaches' Handbook, Conference, and MSHSL policies for your sport.
    • To carry out responsibilities as designated by the head coach.
    • To provide for the health, safety, and well-being of team members.
    • To actively work to create a culture free from hazing and initiations.
    • To adhere to the starting and ending dates for your sport.
    • To be aware of all MSHSL rules that would pertain to you and your sport.
