Established in 2017, tru fru rapidly ascended the "permissible indulgence" space as a Utah-based company selling one-of-a-kind "better for you" Hyper-Chilled and Hyper-Dried real fruit immersed in premium chocolate to retail outlets nationwide. Winning Most Innovative New Product in 2019 and 2022 in the sweets and snacks categories and climbing the fruit-based snack industry chart at an astounding growth rate, tru fru joined the Mars family of brands in February 2023. The Brand Manager - Freeze-Dried & Seasonal Portfolio at tru fru will lead the strategic direction and execution of one of the brand's most dynamic and innovative product lines. This role is responsible for developing and implementing growth strategies that position tru fru as the premier indulgent snack across all seasons and occasions. The Brand Manager will oversee key aspects of brand leadership, including innovation pipeline management, cross-functional team collaboration, and customer engagement. Additionally, this role holds full responsibility for managing P&L levers and will play a pivotal role in shaping the future trajectory of the brand.

What you'll do



  • Own the 3-year innovation roadmap/pipeline for the freeze-dried & seasonal portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive brand strategy that fuels growth across the 4 Ps-positioning, product, pricing, and promotion.
  • Monitor campaign and portfolio performance. Deliver actionable insights through market analysis, segmentation, and post-launch evaluations to optimize effectiveness and ROI.
  • Facilitate Step 2 of the S&OP process and lead the development, alignment, and execution of short- to mid-term demand plans by analyzing market trends, sales inputs, and forecasting data to drive accurate and agile supply chain decisions.
  • Lead the creation and execution of annual marketing plans.
  • Partner with Sales on key freeze-dried initiatives (seasonal, line reviews, innovation summits). Work hand-in-hand with sales to develop customer-specific programs and compelling storytelling that inspire and convert.

  • Able to partner with sales to validate portfolio strategy and new item sell-in
  • Proficient in using data analysis to guide effective decisions
  • Skilled in managing product portfolios to elevate brand narrative and accelerate growth
  • Experienced leading projects and working with Project Managers to drive projects to completion
  • Skilled in driving alignment and results in cross-functional environments


You have...



  • 3 years' experience brand management experience
  • 2 years' experience of packaging and product innovation
  • Consumer Products Goods industry knowledge and experience
  • Demand planning experience


Pluses



  • Experience working in candy category
  • Expertise with seasonal product offerings
