What You Will Do at Noble As a Director of Business Development for Noble User Experience Services will help lead an integral part of Noble's User Experience Services segment, with a specific focus on selling services related to regulated device selection & development, user experience research, design, human factors, and patient engagement services within the pharmaceutical, combination products, and life sciences markets. The Director of Business Development is responsible for identifying and qualifying new leads, driving opportunities to a successful closure, increasing customer knowledge of our Solutions aiming at de-risking and accelerating drug and device development to optimize market access with a user and patient-centered approach. As a result, the Director of Business Development will aim to increase the overall revenue within Noble's Services, cultivating strong relationships with key personnel at targeted companies, collaborate with internal stakeholders linking service opportunities to Noble's core device training and onboarding solutions. They will contribute to strategy and new offering development collaborating with strategic marketing. Asa Director of Business Development User Experience Services,you will
- Establish and nurture a strong network within pharmaceutical, combination products, and life sciences markets.
- Contact potential clients to establish relationship, meet with them to promote Noble's services and complete Value Proposition.
- Engage stakeholders such as, Device Engineers, Usability Experts, HF Engineers, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing/Brand Managers, Commercial teams, Medical/Clinical Affairs, Market Access, Patient Services and Procurement.
- Maintain existing client relationships and build new relationships to promote Noble's services, as well as Noble's complete Value Proposition
- Build pipeline of opportunities and convert into revenue with updates and collaboration with the Director of User Experience Services and Head of Business Development.
- Maintain high level of understanding of the market trends and requirements by participating in educational opportunities, reading professional publications, maintaining personal networks, and participating in professional organizations.
- Present Noble capabilities to potential and existing clients and constantly refine messaging to drive opportunities to successful closure.
- Collaborate with sales, account managers, marketing, and cross-functional leadership in the strategic marketing process to help translate the Voice of the Customer, Market Trends, and learnings from ongoing business to refine value proposition and create new business opportunities.
- Work with internal teams to convert customer challenges into service and design requirement documents, product concepts, Statements of Work, RFP responses and proposals.
- Close new business deals by coordinating requirements, developing, and negotiating contracts, and integrating contract requirements with business operations.
- Attend targeted conference, trade show and industry events.
What Noble is looking for!
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Science, Human Factors Engineering, design engineering or related field from an accredited institution
- 10+ years of business development experience selling services pharmaceutical and life science products.
- Proven experience in consultative sales within pharmaceutical or medical device, preferably combination products
- Strong technical understanding of the development process for regulated drug delivery devices, surgical systems & instrumentation, combination products, and related disposables, IFU's and packaging.
- Existing knowledge of pharmaceutical and medical device development regulatory classes, and region to region regulatory standards.
- Proven work experience in driving/growing revenue by closing business with key customers within a niche market segment.
- Highly motivated and driven; able to think on your feet with strong problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in business vocabulary to effectively represent Noble Services to outside parties.
- Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and editing skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and 365 CRM.
- Willingness to work from home or home office.
- Up to 50% of time traveling

What are the physical demands and work environment?
- Mental- Requires a high degree of concentration intermittently to compile reports and analyze data approximately 50% of time; periods of mental effort and concentration followed by other aspects of the job with lesser concentration and attention requirements.
- Physical- Requires walking/standing approximately 20%, sitting approximately 80%and lifting up to 15 lbs. approximately 1% of time; involves repetitive stooping, forward bending and crouching approximately 10% of time.
- Manual Dexterity- Requires use of hands, arms, and feet for repetitive lifting; use of hands and arms to operate computers, copy machine and other general office equipment and to record written information.
