The incumbent keeps the outside of the facility buildings, clean from dirt, waste, and debris. Shampoos carpets and waxing of floors.

This position is for the 6:30am shift at MAF.

Work Model: Onsite

• Report to work on time daily.
• Follow instructions and carry out work orders by the contract on a daily basis.
• Report all problems and accidents to the supervisor upon discovery, comply with all rules and regulations.
• Perform job requirements including but not limited to the following: mop, strip, buff and wax floors; vacuum, scrub and shampoo carpets; minor pressure washing of windows; operate the tenant floor machine; empty cigarette cans in designated areas; place and empty rainwater catch basins; deliver supplies to the environmental technicians; stock supply room; empty large trash cans around the facility; assist with keeping the entrance ways clean; and rainwater cleanup.
• Secure vehicles and equipment at the end of each shift.
• All assigned work will be performed by the schedule and the contract.
• Cleaning 8 feet and above.
• All other duties as assigned.

Mandatory:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in janitorial services.
• Must have general knowledge of safety procedures in the janitorial workplace.
• Shift work is required and must be flexible during daily work hours.
• Physical effort involving able average standing, sitting, walking or detail work.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen in order to obtain required NASA badge.
• Must be able to provide a certified Birth Certificate (with state seal), Passport, or INS Citizenship documents on date of hire (candidate will be sent home if this paperwork is not provided upon arrival on date of hire).
• Must have the ability to communicate the English language, both verbally and written, in an effective manner.
• Must have, and maintain, a valid Real ID driver's license.
• Must be able to pass a Pre-Employment background check and drug screen test.
