  • Evaluate new site opportunities through energy cost modeling and infrastructure readiness analysis.

Risk & Regulatory Analysis

  • Assess exposure to power market volatility, carbon pricing, and regulatory change.

  • Contribute to risk mitigation strategies including contract structuring, hedging, and participation in demand response or load flexibility programs.

  • Monitor key policy developments (FERC, PUCs, DOE, etc.) and translate implications for energy procurement and compliance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Legal, Finance, Sales, and Sustainability teams to align energy strategies with corporate and customer goals.

  • Deliver executive-ready reporting on energy trends, price risk, and market outlooks.

  • Assist in preparing materials for investor relations and customer-facing transparency on energy sourcing strategy.

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Energy Systems, Engineering, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.

  • 5-10 years of experience in energy markets, utilities, trading, or power procurement.

  • Expertise in U.S. power markets (PJM, ERCOT, CAISO, etc.), with understanding of nodal pricing and market structures.

  • Strong background in data analysis, market modeling, and energy risk management.

  • Proficiency with energy market tools and platforms (e.g., ABB Velocity, Genscape, Energy Exemplar, or similar).

  • Familiarity with renewable energy procurement, emissions tracking, and corporate decarbonization strategies is a plus.
