Johns Hopkins Hospital is seeking a dedicated, independent and experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join the Structural Heart Disease Program team. The selected candidate will manage complex patient cases, managing their pre and post procedural care and ensure adherence to established protocols in the clinical setting.

Work Schedule:



  • Full-time, 5 8-hour weekday shifts (Occasional weekends, no holidays)



Key Responsibilities:




  • Clinical Care:



    • Assess and treat patients referred to the Structural Heart Disease Program.
    • Manage complex cases, including determining appropriate treatment and procedural plans and coordinating with attending physicians.
    • Develop patient-specific care plans and communicate them for implementation.
    • Act as a clinical resource to patients and care givers.
    • Approve patient transfers, determine discharge appropriateness, and coordinate follow-up care





Required Qualifications:



  • Certification:

    • Acute Care Adult Gerontology Nurse Practitioner preferred, Adult Primary Care or Family Nurse Practitioner certification is accepted.
    • Must be licensed to practice as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in the state of Maryland.




  • Experience:

    • Prior experience in cardiology is required.
    • Experience in heart failure management is preferred.






Salary Range: Minimum $53.15/hour - Maximum $82.38/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility.

In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
