We're seeking a Recruiter to join our Talent Aquisition team! In this role, you'll be responsible for the full life cycle of the recruiting process; this entails sourcing and screening candidates, managing open positions, assisting hiring leaders through the interview process, facilitating offers and employment negotiations, all while ensuring candidates have a best in class experience.

• Establishes recruiting strategies to attract and retain qualified candidates for assigned positions.
• Leverages varied recruiting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Social Media) and strategies (creative marketing, diversity outlets, recruiting events) to develop candidate pipeline and market UPH opportunities.
• Facilitates position intake meetings with hiring leaders to confirm/calibrate position requirements and develop recruiting strategy.
• Responsible for on-going process improvements in recruitment, onboarding, employment, and diversity.
• Participates in community outreach as a representative of UnityPoint Health in the way of mock interviewing, resumes writing seminars, junior and high school presentations,
• Builds relationships and partnerships with talent acquisition team members system-wide to share in strategy and best practices.
• Develops, participates and drives projects and initiatives both within region and across the system to provide exposure, career growth, visibility, and opportunities to team members.

Education:

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or related field or equivalent experience.
• Equivalent of Associates Degree with 3+ years of talent acquisition/recruiter experience.

Experience:

• Minimum of 1 year of recruitment experience.
• 1 year of experience conducting sourcing or passive candidate recruitment activities.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
• Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser.
• Multicultural sensitivity.
• Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.
• Advanced reading, writing and oral skills.
• Ability to utilize PC including, basic elements of Windows environment, keyboarding, work with mouse, and perform basic computer tasks with instruction.
• Preferred:
  • Proficient in Lawson HRIS Systems.
  • Proficient in ICIMS Recruitment Software.
