As a Security Professional - Armed Government Location - Full Time in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government and more .

As a Patrol Armed Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to maintain a secure environment within a government location. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, remaining highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to everyone you encounter. This position requires both armed and driving responsibilities, so you will be entrusted with upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity while on duty. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols around the assigned location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or unusual occurrences as required by site protocols.
• Communicate clearly and professionally with staff, visitors, and/or law enforcement as needed.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and procedures, including those related to the handling and carrying of firearms.
• Remain alert and observant throughout the shift to help to deter and report any security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• An Armed Guard Card or License is preferred.
• A valid driver's license is required and must meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements for driving positions only.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
