As the Investment Product Management Senior Manager, you will be responsible for all Investment Product Management (IPM) accountabilities, across all asset classes, driving ideas, analysis and thought leadership to support sales and client service. You will play a pivotal role in the evolution of the IPM function, driving strategic and proactive engagements with the salesforce and clients, and leading the scalable development and delivery of high-impact insights, content and sales ideas across Capital's entire product suite.

Day to day, you will:

  • Lead the development and execution of the IPM strategy, establishing the vision and direction, and driving business priorities that are aligned to Capital Group's Long Term Strategic Plan (LTSP)

  • Acts as a key thought leader and trusted business partner to sales, driving growth and amplifying the impact of sales and marketing engagements

  • Develop and nurture cross-functional partnerships across product, sales, marketing and the investment group to activate growth opportunities and solve product challenges

  • Focus on scale, efficiency, and technology, developing systems and processes that create leverage for the IPM function and key partners

  • Lead the IPM team, with a focus on developing a highly engaged, impactful, and results-oriented associates

  • You have exceptional industry experience with 10+ years in investment-related roles and possess in-depth knowledge of investment strategies across asset classes

  • You are strategic, partnering actively and looking holistically at the Investment Product operating environment to identify opportunities for improvement that can create efficiency and accelerate growth

  • You are credible and influential, possessing a deep understanding of client needs and how to impact them through analysis and thought leadership

  • You are a present, hands-on leader and have a track record of coaching, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams

  • You demonstrate exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze opportunities and issues and then recommend business solutions

  • You have extraordinary communication and presentation skills, able to deliver persuasive and concise message to clients and senior business leaders on broad and nuanced topics

  • You are collaborative, partnering seamlessly with teams across Capital Group, and externally, to effectively achieve business objectives

  • You stay up to date on industry trends, best practices and possess the ability to apply these insights to business strategy and growth initiatives

  • You hold a bachelor's degree; Advanced degree, such as an MBA or CFA charter, strongly preferred

  • FINRA licenses required (SIE, 7, 66, 24)

In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
