Vehicle Management Systems Engineer

• Analyze and review system architectures to define key capabilities and performance requirements.
• Establish design constraints and technology maturity levels in accordance with Government specifications.
• Recommend system implementation strategies and operational concepts.
• Evaluate system performance and verify requirements in collaboration with the customer.
• Lead VMS specification development, requirements definition, functional modeling, and testing activities.
• Apply broad engineering knowledge to resolve challenges in airborne radar technologies including receivers, transmitters, antenna design, resolution, mode techniques, and signal processing algorithms.
• Manage subsystem-to-VMS interfaces, including requirements traceability, design validation, integration testing, and progress reporting to internal and external stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline from an accredited university with 5+ years of relevant experience, OR a Master's degree in a STEM field with 2+ years of VMS design experience.
• Familiarity with MIL-HDBK-516 (Airworthiness Certification Criteria) and MIL-STD-1796 (Avionics Integrity Program).
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Active Top Secret Clearance required.
