About the Role: Are you an experienced automotive technician ready to transition from the shop floor to a more stable, office-based role? This is your opportunity to apply your mechanical expertise in a professional setting, helping customers and dealerships navigate vehicle repair claims.
As a Mechanical Claims Analyst, you'll use your knowledge of engines, transmissions, and electrical systems to evaluate mechanical claims, communicate with customers and repair facilities, and ensure accurate and fair claim resolutions. Key Responsibilities: * Review and process mechanical claims using established guidelines and repair knowledge * Communicate with dealerships and vehicle owners to explain claim decisions and next steps * Provide guidance on repair processes and warranty coverage * Maintain accurate electronic records using internal systems * Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent, high-quality service * Deliver empathetic and professional customer service over the phone and via email What You'll Need: * 3+ years of hands-on automotive repair or mechanical experience * Strong understanding of engines, transmissions, and electrical systems * Excellent communication skills-able to explain technical issues to non-technical audiences * Customer service experience, especially in high-volume or call center environments * Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to navigate multiple software systems * High school diploma or GED required * ASE certification is a plus * Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are encouraged to apply Work Environment & Schedule: * Training: 2 weeks onsite, followed by 1-2 months of in-office support * Hybrid Schedule: After initial period, 2 days in-office, 3 days remote (Mondays & Fridays always remote) * Saturday Availability: Required once per month (can be taken as overtime or flexed with a weekday off) * Casual dress code, individual cubicle, and a supportive team environment Why Apply? * Opportunity to transition from hands-on work to a professional office role * Competitive pay and potential for contract extension or permanent hire * Join a reputable organization with a strong track record of internal promotions * Work-life balance with hybrid flexibility and a modern office environment *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
