Bellisario College of Communications Internships & Career Placement office is seeking a part-time, federally qualified, work-study student for up to 10 hours per week. Responsible for:
Individuals must maintain professionalism at all times, either while assisting members or while working with confidential information. Experience with Adobe In-Design preferred. Essential duties and responsibilities include timely and accurate input of information.Candidate must be a Penn State University student and possess the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with excellent interpersonal skills. Training on use of associated systems will be provided. Work hours can be flexible during theworkweek (Monday-Friday). This position reports to the Academic Program Coordinator and works closely with the Assistant Dean and Manager of Internships for the Donald P. Bellisario College Internship and Career Placement Office. Students who received a Federal Work Study award have the opportunity to obtain a joband perform related duties eitheron campus, orremotely, if possibleand at the discretion of the employer. Students applying for Federal Work Study positions should clarify expectations with their potential employer regarding either on campus/in person or remote work arrangements.A Federal Work Study award does not guarantee a job position is available. The starting hourly rate for this job is $12.00. Federal Work Study job performance is evaluated either annually or through ongoing mentorship.
