Job Description

What You'll Do:
This position supports and assists the Program Manager II in coordinating and supporting the operations of the Department of Emergency Medicine (EM) Residency program, the Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Fellowship program, and medical student education to support the programs' educational goals.

Qualified candidates should have experience in an academic environment and have excellent written and verbal communication skills. You could be a top choice if you work well in a rapidly expanding department and are eager to be a part of a high-performing team.

Your contributions will help ensure smooth program delivery, positive learner experiences, and compliance with university and accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities:
* Works within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
* Coordinate APP Fellowship programs within the Department of Emergency Medicine.
* Communicate with APP Fellow applicants during interviews, onboarding, and throughout the duration of the program.
* Tracking performance data for APP Fellowship and communicating progress to the Fellowship Director and education teams.
* Coordinate and track attendance of journal club and residency conferences.
* Provide additional administrative support to the EM Residency Program during resident interviews, mock oral board exams, wellness retreats, and graduation events.
* Exchanges straightforward information, asks questions, and checks for understanding.
* Develops working relationships with functional teams and collaborates effectively with educational teams and personnel.

Shift

Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Occasional evenings and weekends may be required.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 1 year of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

1 year of experience
Medical Knowledge, Academic Health system knowledge
System Level Leadership Experience

* Excellent oral and written communication skills.
* Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and attentiveness to detail.
* Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
* Organizational skills.
* Ability to anticipate needs and exercise initiative in all aspects of office administration.
* Ability to handle multiple situations with tact maintaining excellent customer service.
* Ability to use discretion and independent judgment and adhere to short deadlines.
* Ability to analyze problems and develop creative solutions in a wide variety of situations.
* Ability to function with minimal supervision professionally and confidentially.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $18.87 - 28.00 hourly
Grade: GGS - 008
