Overview: TEKsystems is hiring for an entry-level IT Support Specialist. This position focuses on Tier 1 support and hardware deployments internally, with responsiblities including assisting users with technical issues and supporting the PC build process. This is a great opportunity for someone with an educational background in IT that is looking to gain hands-on experience in corporate IT. Key Responsibilities: * Provide phone, email, and remote support for internal users. * Troubleshoot common issues such as password resets, application access, printer setup, and email problems. * Support walk-up desk operations and assist with hardware deployments. * Participate in PC builds, including installing Windows 10 and configuring Dell desktops and laptops. * Use IT service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow) to track and resolve tickets. Skills: * Associate degree in IT (or currently pursuing) * 0 - 3 years of experience in IT support or a related role (internships, retail tech support, etc.). * Strong customer service skills and a willingness to learn. * Comfortable following scripted instructions and working in a structured environment. * Experience with hardware deployment and imaging is a plus. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
