*Job Title: Work from home Reimbursement Case Manager* Job Description As a Reimbursement Case Manager, you will be an expert in reimbursement, co-pay, foundation assistance, and benefit coordination. You will assist patients and healthcare professionals by verifying insurance coverage, handling medical billing, and navigating the reimbursement process for complex pharmaceuticals.
Responsibilities * Serve as a resource for patients and healthcare professionals to verify insurance coverage and reimbursement processes. * Navigate payer challenges by asking appropriate questions to achieve necessary results. * Escalate complex cases according to program policy and procedures. * Evaluate program enrollment forms for data integrity. * Conduct insurance benefit investigations and triage cases according to program standard operating procedures. * Document case management activities in the system, including status and background notes. * Assist in the prior authorization and appeals process. Essential Skills * Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. * Strong working knowledge of prior authorization and appeals. * Understanding of medical and pharmacy insurance terminology. * Problem-solving and decision-making skills. * Attention to detail and committed follow through in communication. * Strong organizational skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to change. * Interpersonal skills to work independently and as part of a team. * Proficient with Microsoft products. Additional Skills & Qualifications * Associate or bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience, or a High school diploma with 5 years of relevant experience. Why Work Here?
