Description and Requirements

About the Role

The Director of Product Management will drive the strategic vision and execution for our AI software experiences. In this role, you will partner closely with peers responsible for product planning, operations, and exploratory future partner experiences. You will collaborate with our development and design organizations to ensure the delivery of innovative, high-impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives for maximum user and business impact.
  • Manage and empower product managers within the pods, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Work in close partnership with product management peers focused on product planning, operational excellence, and the exploration of future partner experiences.
  • Utilize market research, user data, and feedback to identify new opportunities and inform product direction. Translate insights into innovative solutions that address real user needs.
  • Work with strategy and business development teams to evolve product strategy and build business cases.
  • Oversee the entire product lifecycle, from discovery to launch, ensuring timely delivery, high quality, and alignment with user and business goals.
  • Communicate progress, challenges, and strategic plans to executive leadership and key stakeholders, securing buy-in and ensuring alignment across the organization.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of Experience as part of Product Management Leadership in technology organizations, including growing Product Management teams.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated success delivering AI-powered or user-centric software products.
  • 10+ years of product management experience, including leadership roles with cross-functional teams in technology organizations.
  • 5+ years of experience with consumer electronics with Design, Software, Hardware and development teams with the ability to communicate the technical limitations of design for Mobile, Web and/or Android products.
  • Proven ability to define product vision, develop strategy, and execute complex roadmaps.
  • Experience working in agile, pod-based organizations and collaborating with software and hardware teams.
  • Experience coaching and developing high-performing product teams.

The base salary budgeted range for this position is $175-245k. Individuals may also be considered for bonus and/or commission. This role is hybrid at our Chicago, IL location 3 days per week. Relocation assistance can be provided.
