SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect

This position will be responsible for design, implementation, and optimization of solutions across the procure to pay, record to report, and order to cash workstreams to drive velocity and increase efficiency across the business.This role will act as a bridge between business requirements and technical solutions, ensuring that the technology is effectively leveraged to achieve organizational goals.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and design high level solutions to meet business requirements in line with the business strategy.
  • Define and advise on architecture principles, including best practice design and use of SAP standard before custom development.
  • Primary focus is to enable future changes to be delivered while protecting the solution design and vision from both a process and technical perspective.
  • Develop S/4HANA architecture strategy, including SAP roadmaps, implementation patterns and associated communication materials that will reduce overall complexity and increased sustainability. This typically includes:
    • Presentation Strategy
    • Business Logic Strategy
    • Information Access Strategy
    • Reuse Strategy
    • Process Automation Strategy
    • System Resiliency Strategy
    • Systems Integration Strategy
    • Application Security Strategy
    • Environment Configuration and Management Strategy
  • Work with Enterprise Architects and Business Architects on solution selection and advise on SAP capabilities, functionality, and product roadmap.
  • Design new high-level solutions based on customer requirements and guide solution delivery teams to perform detailed design and solution build in alignment with architectural standards.
  • Collaborate with business process teams/owners and other technical and enterprise architects to ensure end-to-end solution integrity and supportability.
  • Provide direction on impact assessment of change requests; review solutions and estimates; and challenge solutions that are not scalable, future proof, or following best practices.
  • Identify technical risks and potential issues within the proposed solution and within the wider integrated environments.
  • Create architecture diagrams and high-level design documents.
  • Individual must display a high aptitude/desire to remain current on the S/4HANA roadmap and information technology trends and be able to communicate recommendations effectively to all levels of the organization.

Minimum Requirements

  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or related field. Four additional years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • 10 years of experience in SAP development and implementation, including 3 full life cycle implementations
  • 3 years of experience as an SAP S/4HANA Solution Architect
  • In-depth understanding of SAP S/4HANA business processes, functionality, and architecture.
  • Expertise in multiple SAP modules such as Finance and Controlling, Sales and Distribution, Sourcing and Procurement, Global Trade Services as well as ABAP and Fiori development and a solid understanding of Basis functions
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Ability to analyze complex business problems and develop effective solutions

Preferred Qualifications

  • SAP Enterprise Architect certification
  • Experience with SAP BTP, AI, and other automation technologies
  • Experience working in an Agile environment
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and iPaaS solutions
  • Ability to work on-site in our Westminster office 3 days per week. Full-time remote may be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

* The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $126,000.00 - $210,000.00 annually. * The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $126,000.00 - $210,000.00 annually. * The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $139,000.00 - $231,000.00 annually. * The base pay for this position within California is: $145,000.00 - $241,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
