Compensation: $38.00 - $42.00/hour Dependent on Experience

Work Schedule: Full-time, Day Shift

Tessera Aerospace Manufacturing is seeking a skilledCNC Programmerto join our manufacturing team in Auburn, WA. In this role, you'll develop and manage CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machines to support the production of high-precision aerospace components. You'll collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize machining processes, improve efficiency, and ensure quality andsafety standardsare consistently met.

Typical duties include but are not limited to:

  • Create CAD/CAM databases, models, and CNC programs for complex aerospace parts
  • Select appropriate tooling and tool paths for efficient machining
  • Analyze and verify dimensional results during prove-outs; correct discrepancies
  • Support production teams with complex setups and machining operations
  • Participate in new product development and provide input on manufacturability
  • Maintain documentation for tooling, certifications, and inspection processes
  • Ensure compliance with AS9100 standards and support audit readiness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve quality and reduce costs
  • Stay current with new technologies and integrate them into programming processes
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and promote a safe working environment

Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree in manufacturing preferred
  • 5-8 Years experience in aerospace or commercial manufacturing
  • Proficient in CAD/CAM software (CATIA or SolidWorks preferred)
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Experience with 4- and 5-axis CNC machines and hard metals
  • Knowledge of cutting speeds, feeds, and machining best practices
  • Familiarity with English and Metric systems and conversions
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
  • Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required.
  • Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.

Requirements:

  • Must be able to obtain and maintain applicable security clearances. A background check and E-Verify will be conducted for this position.
