This role is responsible for driving financial insights, providing strategic guidance, and fostering strong relationships with key business leaders across the organization. The Director of Finance Business Partnering- Sales & Marketing will be a key member of the finance leadership team, contributing to the overall financial strategy and performance of Rentokil-Terminix.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior business leaders in Sales and Marketing to understand their objectives, challenges, and opportunities.

  • Proactively identify and analyze financial trends, risks, and opportunities to inform business decisions and drive improved performance related to sales and marketing activities.

  • Establish a robust economic framework for assessing the return on investment on advertising spend. Familiarity with mixed media models is a plus.

  • Develop and implement robust financial analysis and reporting, and dashboards to provide timely and actionable insights to business leaders, such as metrics-based end-to-end lead analysis from inbound and creative lead channels, optimized spend analysis, cost of customer acquisition and lifetime value of customer analysis.

  • Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track business performance and identify areas for improvement. KPIs include sales by salesperson, SQL closure rate, SQL cancelled leads by reason code, SQL lost leads by reason code, marketing flow through by media type/brand/market / branch, spend by type, and lead volume.

  • Collaborate with business partners to develop and evaluate strategic initiatives, including investments, expansions, and new product launches.

  • Provide financial support and analysis for performance reviews and incentive commission, and compensation programs.

  • Evaluate and implement new technologies and tools such as AI to enhance financial analysis and reporting capabilities.

  • Effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial audiences.

  • Manage and develop a team of finance professionals working in a remote environment, with an intense focus on delivery.

Candidate Requirements

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance-related subject

  • Master's Degree preferred

Experience

  • A minimum of 7 -10 years of experience as a dynamic director-level leader

  • 1-3 years in a Senior Manager or Director role, working with diverse teams in a field-based residential business on a national scale.

  • Familiarity with mixed media models, preferred

  • Deep knowledge of lead creation, development, nurturing, and management.

  • Must possess superior presentation, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a heightened sense of attention to detail are key characteristics of the perfect candidate.

  • Strong interpersonal skills that allow for healthy internal and external relationships are necessary.

  • Additionally, strong computer skills whereby the candidate is fluent in FP&A Software.

  • Demonstrated strong organizational skills, such as project management to be successful in preparing annual budgets & plans for multiple business units throughout North America.

  • Demonstrated leadership success.

  • Demonstrated success in managing long-term projects.

  • Experience supporting different districts/areas of the business at once.

  • Experience working with large amounts of data.

  • Experience with presenting data to the Leadership team.

  • Experience managing large projects.

Skills & Competencies

  • Highly commercial with strong business acumen, with a customer focus and growth mindset.

  • Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities with a strong understanding of corporate accounting and influencing key financial performance indicators

  • Excellent people management skills with demonstrable experience of working in or leading a large, dispersed, and diverse workforce across multiple locations and at the national level.

  • Excellent organizational and leadership skills with the ability to operate effectively both strategically and operationally as required.

  • Outstanding communication skills with demonstrated ability to influence at all levels with various internal and external stakeholders, including customers, employees, trade unions, investors, analysts, regulators, government bodies, and suppliers as required.

  • Able to demonstrate high levels of drive, work ethic, and personal accountability with the ability to work under pressure while maintaining sound judgment and a rigorous focus on the details.

Incumbent must be prepared to:

  • Move up to 10 pounds occasionally, by lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise repositioning objects.

  • Sitting for long periods of time while using office equipment such as computers, phones and etc.

  • Performing repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers, such as typing, picking, and pinching, within your regular work environment.

  • Express or exchange ideas with others through the use of spoken word, quickly, accurately, and at an easily audible volume, and receive detailed information through oral communication at usual speaking levels without correction, and/or make fine discriminations in the nature of sounds in the environment.

Incumbent is required to have:

  • Near-range visual acuity for detailed tasks and ability to perform activities with precision such as analyzing data, viewing computer screens or reading extensively.

Incumbent will be subject to:

  • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.

Base Pay Range: 148,000-196,000 / year

While starting pay falls within the given range, it can vary based on factors like geographic location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may also be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment (where applicable).
