UNDERGROUND EQUIPMENT OPERATOR

We are hiring an Underground Equipment Operator at our Medford OR operation. In this role, you'll operate a 305 to 336 size excavator for underground water, sewer and storm drain lines. You must have experience digging trenches with large excavators, working around live utilities, and understand trench safety.

This is a union position with membership to the Operators Union required after hire.

• Union Scale Wage: $52.55 per hour
• Benefits: Full union benefit package.

Major Job Responsibilities and Qualifications will include:

• Operate 305 to 336 size excavators for underground excavation, prior experience required.
• Operate excavator in and around live utilities, prior experience in this type of environment required.
• Understand trench and excavation safety requirements and state and federal regulations.
• Ensure equipment is properly inspected before and after shift.
• Ability to work overtime and a flexible schedule which include both days and nights.
