Sr. Technical Program Manager [REMOTE]

Iteris is looking for a Sr. Technical Program Manager in the transportation industry. The ideal candidate will work remotely and primarily focus on contract administration and serving as Project Manager for Task Orders. The position will perform manage Iteris' Traffic Operations, ITS or Traveler Information projects across the nation. What you will be doing:

• Responsible for tasks related to transportation operations, ITS, traveler information, strategic planning, and program implementation support
• Will conduct research on best practices nationally, develop guidance documents, manage multiple projects, conduct analysis and research
• Produce documents, communicate with client, and supporting traffic operations, TSMO, ITS and Traveler Information programs
• The position will work remotely but should have experience in mid-Atlantic or Southeast States
• Serve as Contract Administrator for VDOT Operations Planning Contract and ability to serve as Deputy Project Manager or Task Lead under VDOT Southwest Traffic Operations Contract
• Manage task orders and support the current Project Manager
• May serve as a Project Manager over ATIS/ClearRoute projects

What you need to be successful in this role:

• A Bachelor's Science degree in Civil Engineering or related field required
• Minimum 15 years experience in Traffic Management, TSMO, ITS, or Traveler Information
• Over 10 years experience serving as a Project Manager
• Ideal candidate will work remotely but should be accessible to mid-Atlantic and Southeast states
• Experience with Traffic Operations, TSMO, ITS or Traveler information programs
• Public sector transportation experience is preferred
• Experience managing consultant task orders and contract administration
• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing with project team
• Ability to effectively plan and schedule work

Iteris anticipates paying a base salary between $145,600 and $162,200 for this role. Actual pay offered may be below or above these amounts, depending on the individual's job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
