Job Title: CNC Machinist - Industrial Machinery
Location: Madison, AL
Office hour: 8:00am - 5:00 pm
Classification: Exempt, Direct Hire, Full-Time
A global industrial machinery manufacturer-known for its custom-built systems tailored to client specifications-is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join its Madison, AL team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating CNC mills and lathes to produce high-quality precision components according to engineering specifications.
Responsibilities:
Set up, operate, and maintain CNC milling machines and lathes to produce high-quality precision parts. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to ensure accurate machining.
Assemble industrial machines and robotic welding systems according to schematics, blueprints, and technical instructions.
Ensure precision and quality of machined and assembled components through measurement and inspection.
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC equipment and assembled systems.
Collaborate with engineering, production, and team members to optimize processes and support project needs.
Assist in other tasks as needed during downtime, contributing to the team's overall efficiency.
Troubleshoot mechanical or technical issues during builds to minimize delays.
Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient work environment while adhering to company procedures and quality standards.
Travel up to 20% for customer installations, training, or equipment repairs.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience as a CNC Machinist.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or relevant certification preferred.
Hands-on experience with welding and mechanical assembly.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and mechanical schematics.
Physically capable of lifting 35-50 lbs and performing active, hands-on work.
Willingness to travel up to 20% for customer installations, training, or equipment support.
