Summary: As a Software Engineer III for Enterprise Technical Solutions, there is a strong data emphasis. The solutions offered by this area have a high impact across the internal NM Engineering. Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Apply engineering best practices in order to analyze, design, develop, deploy and support software solutions.
- Develop software using continuous Deployment and integration practices.
- Participate in an Agile implementation and maintenance of source control and release procedures.
- Participate in Code Reviews and feedback to the team.
- Explain technical solutions to technical teams.
- Contribute to a collaborative work environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions.
- Identify data quality issues and their root causes.
- Propose fixes and design data audits.
- Recommends efficiencies to current established development and continuous integration practices.
- Troubleshoots and resolves technical issues that may arise during the development and deployment of software projects.
- Conducts thorough code evaluation to ensure compliance with established coding standards and best practices
- Has an evolving understanding of system-wide architectural challenges.
- Contributes to technical discussions and decision-making processes within the team.
- May take on a mentoring role and provide guidance and support to junior technical talent
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2-4 years of professional experience.
- Professional software engineering, debugging and software documentation experience.
- Code Knowledge: Python, JVM (Java, Scala), Apache Spark, SQL.
- Experience with Agile methodologies/DevOps environment.
- Awareness of database structures, theories, principles, and practices.
- Awareness of Data Integration Patterns and Tooling including ELT/ETL, EII, Replication, Event Streaming, Virtualization to support batch and real-time data needs.
- Basic understanding of Data Quality and Data Concepts.
- Has or develops understanding of 4-6 subject areas/domains of data.
- Proficient craftsman on Software and Quality Standards.
- Advanced programming skills.
- Ability to explain technical solutions to technical teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction.
- Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills.

Pay Range - End: $172,250.00
Geographic Specific Pay Structure:
205 - Structure 110: 102,060.00 USD - 189,540.00 USD
205 - Structure 115: 106,680.00 USD - 198,120.00 USD
