Work Schedule: 100% FTE, Day Shift role. Mon - Fri during orientation. Flexible after orientation: 4/10-hour days; 4/9-hour days and 1/4-hour day; 5/8-hours days. You will work at 1340 Charles St. Clinic in Rockford. We are currently seeking a Medical Assistant (RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT) to: Perform a variety of patient care duties including taking vital signs, recording patient histories, EKG's, medication reconciliation, specimen collections. Under the authority and delegation of a physician may perform certain other tasks or duties. Alerts provider/nurse of emergent patient needs. Prepare patients for examination, treatment and procedures. Provide quality care in a compassionate environment where teamwork is highly valued, and exceptionalism and innovation are encouraged. Required Laboratory and phlebotomy training required within 30 days of hire. Required Drug and alcohol screening, and N95 training required within 30 days of hire. Required Work Experience At least one year of professional experience in a clinic setting. Preferred Computer experience. Required Licenses & Certifications RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification is required upon hire. Required Bi-Annual CPR certification. Required Active RMA, AAMA, CCMA or NCCT certification must be maintained. Required Audiometry certification through Northern Illinois University or Health Conservation, Inc. (HCI), required within 30 days of hire.
