Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Logistician to join our team in San Diego, CA. The Logistician will play a critical role in integrating the full spectrum of logistics processes within operational, acquisition, and wholesale environments. This position requires a strategic thinker who can oversee logistics planning, policy development, and execution to ensure effective life cycle support for weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities

Direct and manage the integrated logistics process across all program phases.
Develop, implement, and maintain support policies, procedures, and systems to meet operational goals.
Provide implementation guidance to ensure effective logistics operations.
Prepare and issue directives to guarantee efficient and compliant logistics support.
Establish and enforce standards to ensure personnel are properly trained, equipped, and mission ready.
Lead efforts to develop, initiate, integrate, and manage all logistics actions associated with the life cycle management of weapon systems, subsystems, and equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment with program objectives.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience managing logistics operations within military or defense-related environments.
Knowledge of integrated logistics support (ILS) principles and life cycle management processes.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
