Schedule & Pay

Monday - Thursday (11 AM - 7 PM) + Friday (10 AM - 6 PM)

$22.58 - $28.23 per hour

Requirements

A high school diploma + 3 years of experience + A valid MN driver's license + The ability to lift 50 pounds

Position Summary

This role is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, safety, and functionality of the building and grounds. Duties include custodial services, groundskeeping, basic repairs, inventory management, event setup, and after-hours building supervision.

Key Responsibilities

1. Groundskeeping



  • Operate and maintain groundskeeping equipment safely and courteously, including performing preventative maintenance.
  • Care for lawns, shrubs, trees, and landscaped areas.
  • Maintain roadways and parking lots in good condition.
  • Provide snow and ice removal from walkways and entrances to ensure safe access.


2. Building Maintenance



  • Operate mechanical cleaning equipment safely and perform preventative maintenance as required.
  • Remove trash and recyclables from receptacles and transport to designated dumpsters.
  • Maintain sanitary conditions throughout the facility, including windows, walls, woodwork, furniture, and fixtures through dusting, washing, and polishing.
  • Perform routine HVAC maintenance, conduct system tests, and prepare reports as needed.
  • Receive and distribute supplies; monitor inventory and notify Building & Grounds Supervisor when restocking is required.
  • Contact service providers for maintenance of building systems (security, fire alarm, HVAC, building envelope) when necessary.
  • Safely handle, apply, and dispose of cleaning agents in accordance with safety standards.


3. Warehouse Receiving



  • Operate warehouse equipment safely, performing routine preventative maintenance.
  • Load, unload, and transport freight, materials, and equipment as required.
  • Manually lift, carry, and distribute materials to appropriate locations.


4. Meeting & Event Support



  • Set up and dismantle tables, chairs, and other equipment as outlined on facility use forms.
  • Supervise the building during after-hours meetings to ensure safety and proper use of facilities.
  • Clean meeting areas following events.


5. Additional Duties



  • Perform other assigned tasks to support the overall operation and upkeep of the facility.
