Your effort and expertise are crucial to the success and execution of this impactful mission. This opportunity supports an Enterprise IT contract with a team of SIGDEV Analysts, Systems Engineers, Junior Engineers, Telecommunication Technical Analysts and System Administrators, responsible for the architecture, engineering, integration, operations, maintenance and sustainment of multi-level Enterprise IT environment.

Job Description:

The Level 3 Systems Engineer shall possess the following capabilities:

• The ability to set up a connection with the ISLANDTRANSPORT (ITX) ticketing System (ITXTIX).
• Understanding of how to submit a request for a connection with Java Data Transport Service (JDTS).
• Must be proficient in oral and written communication.
• A solid understanding of how data moves through the enterprise.
• The ability to adjust to assignment changes or tasking with limited notice.
• Proficiency in Linux.
• Understanding/experience with Apache Nifi.

Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) years' experience as a SE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SE experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree.
• A Bachelor's degree in System Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management, or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• In order to be successful in this role, the Systems Engineer Level 3 should be familiar with the following tools:
• Data Services Wizard (DSW)
• PlatinumStar
• SHAREDIVISIONSystem Suite
• ACCUMETRICS
• Data Warehouses (EWH, CWH)

Position requires active Security Clearance with appropriate Polygraph

Pay Range: 190,000-240,000
