Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Engineer to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Cyber Resilience Support Services under the JETS contract. The Cybersecurity Engineer will perform a variety of routine and specialized tasks to address cybersecurity challenges, integrating electronic processes and methodologies to resolve system and technology-related issues. This role supports the planning, design, development, testing, and integration of secure information systems.


Responsibilities

Essential Job Functions:

  • Analyze and interpret cybersecurity requirements to support secure system development and integration.
  • Apply systematic and analytical approaches to resolve workflow, organizational, and planning challenges related to cybersecurity.
  • Provide engineering support throughout the system lifecycle, including design, testing, and demonstration phases.
  • Assist in the integration of cybersecurity controls into enterprise IT systems and architectures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity standards and best practices.
  • Support vulnerability assessments and remediation planning.
  • Document security engineering processes and provide technical input to risk management and mitigation strategies.

Qualifications

Necessary Skills and Knowledge:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security issues.
  • Strong understanding of cybersecurity engineering principles and practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • DoD Approved 8570 Baseline Certification: Category IAT Level III
  • Minimum Three (3) years of relevant IT experience.
  • Must have an active DOD Top Secret Clearance and be eligible for IT-I Critical Sensitive security clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Pay and Benefits

The salary range for this position is $110,000 to $165,000 annually.
