The Office of the President at the University of Virginia seeks applicants for a Briefing Coordinator. As an integral member of the President's support team, the Briefing Coordinator collects and prepares materials for the President's daily briefing binder. Briefings include high-level summaries, agendas, talking points (meetings and public events), financial reports, historical background, participant bios, proposals, and detailed travel itineraries. This is a deadline-based position requiring impeccable organizational skills and a keen ability to predict and anticipate next steps while prioritizing the immediate tasks at hand. The Briefing Coordinator is responsible for filing and keeping a complete record of the briefing binders, as well as monitoring and tracking upcoming speaking engagements and other events pertaining to the President's calendar. The Briefing Coordinator provides support to the President's executive team by sharing related briefing documents as needed and works on special projects as they arise, including serving as back-up to the President's administrative staff. Physical Demands This is primarily a sedentary job involving extensive use of desktop computers. The job does occasionally require traveling some distance to attend meetings, and programs. The anticipated hiring range is $70,000-$85,000, commensurate with education and experience. This is an exempt-level, benefited position. Learn more about UVA benefits.
