We are seeking a Management & Program Specialist I. Located on-site at St. Julien's Creek Annex Portsmouth, VA. Job Description: * Assists in responding to data calls, submitting recommendations for program reviews, and tracking outstanding actions * Support the development of various reports and presentations utilizing Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Power BI) for internal and external customer use * Coordinate meetings and teleconferences as required * Maintain specialized IPT-wide products * Specializes in office and customer service * Maintain IPT leadership calendars and coordinate travel * Demonstrates attention to detail and good judgment * Prepares for various all-hands and management meetings * Captures meeting minutes / action items as required * Prepares Naval Messages and the Good News Messages as directed. * Sends out visit requests as needed * Ensure office supplies are stocked * Execute purchase card transactions * Performs other duties and works schedules as assigned by management, which may include changes to duties, responsibilities, or work hours as required to meet contractual obligations, mission requirements, or the needs of the organization. Education Required: * High School Diploma or GED required (Associates or Bachelors in a related field- preferred) * Three (3) years of direct work experience with the use of information technology to develop and/or integrate complex data to support three (3) of the following five (5) areas: requirements analysis; knowledge analysis; project management procedures including out year budgeting for programs involving OMN, FMS, OPN, SCN, and RDT&E monies; development of contact schedules, out year planning and POM budgets, compliance planning and program planning; knowledge of DoD standards and regulations like the FAR, DFAR, OPM requirements, and other business related regulations. Experience may be achieved simultaneously.
Work Schedule: 0800-1630 Must have a Secret clearance or be able to attain a clearance Travel may be required (San Diego, CA, and Washington, DC)
