Summary / Position Purpose:

The Inventory Compliance Coordinator is responsible for ensuring accuracy, accountability, and compliance within all aspects of inventory management. This role supports warehouse operations by monitoring stock movements, conducting audits, reconciling discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with company policies and industry regulations. The Inventory Compliance Coordinator plays a critical role in safeguarding inventory integrity and supporting operational efficiency.

Essential Duties, Functions and/or Responsibilities:



  • Monitor daily inventory transactions to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to established procedures.
  • Conduct regular cycle counts, spot checks, and full physical inventory audits to identify discrepancies.
  • Investigate root causes of variances and collaborate with warehouse and production teams to resolve issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of inventory adjustments, transfers, and reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and regulatory requirements for inventory control.
  • Partner with purchasing, warehouse, and production departments to validate inbound and outbound inventory accuracy.
  • Generate inventory compliance reports and provide recommendations for process improvements.
  • Support implementation of best practices for inventory management and loss prevention.
  • Train team members on proper inventory handling, documentation, and compliance procedures.
  • Assist in system updates and testing related to inventory management software (ERP/WMS).
  • Indirectly responsible for product quality
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:



  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.
  • 2+ years of inventory control, compliance, or warehouse operations experience in a manufacturing/distribution environment.
  • Strong understanding of inventory management processes, ERP/WMS systems, and cycle counting procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel required for data analysis and reporting).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across multiple departments.
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume warehouse/manufacturing setting.


Physical Requirements:



  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., when necessary
  • Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state and local standards, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards
  • Ability to maintain regular, punctual attendance consistent with the ADA, FMLA and other federal, state, and local standards
