Work Location: East Falls 4341 Ridge Ave, Philadelphia, PA 19129 Oregon Pike 1683 Oregon Pike, Lancaster, PA 17601 Work Hours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm Additional hours as needed to fulfill the needs of the department. Function: The Community Mortgage Lender establishes and maintains relationships with community-based organizations, Realtors, and government agencies which result in lending opportunities to ensure full compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. Duties and Responsibilities:
Education: Requires a high school diploma or equivalent plus specialized training or two-year degree. NMLS certification and annual maintenance required to originate loans. Proof of registration and verification of a unique identifier as established under the guidelines of the S.A.F.E. Act is required upon hire and/or must be obtained prior to performing the duties of a Mortgage Loan Originator, as defined by the Act. Experience: Five to ten years general business experience and two to five years specialized experience required including knowledge of CRA and down payment assistance programs. A strong knowledge and sales background supports success in the origination of mortgages. Physical Demands: Operates a keypad device: 60-70% of the day; travels occasionally to alternate work locations. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Primary parts of the body include finger, thumb, and hand. Standing required 10-20% of the day; sitting 60-70%; and walking 10% of the day. Routinely lifts 10 pounds 10-20% of the day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18"-20" for computer work and travel.
