Under the supervision of the Faculty Practice Group Support Services Manager for CLIA Management and Licensed Expirables, you will coordinate all activities related to CLIA Management (operational licensing and compliance) and finance-related issues (denials, rejects, rebills, and updating the EHR). You will communicate with clinic managers, clinic supervisors, CDPH, and CMS to ensure all community clinics have the appropriate licensures and that all CDPH and CMS guidelines are enforced. You will:

  • Identify, assess, and implement organizational readiness and stakeholder alignment
  • Drive cross-functional communication to ensure proper procedures and compliance standards are followed
  • Work with denial and rejection codes to resolve CLIA-related inefficiencies
  • Apply change management practices and skills
  • Investigate and analyze opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness
  • Develop strategies to respond to changes in external/internal project requirements
  • Meet budgetary objectives
  • Leverage financial analysis to adjust project constraints
  • Provide routine project status reports
Salary Range: $ 32.20 - $51.36/hourly
Qualifications
We're seeking a highly-motivated, detail-oriented professional with:
  • Knowledge of Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment regulations
  • Understanding of clinical and billing operations
  • Strong math abilities
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality with administrative, medical, and personnel issues
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational, and prioritizing skills
  • Understanding of finance procedures for processing payments and providing information for reimbursements
